GPA: 2.75 ACT: 28 (English 31, Math, 26, Reading 29, Science 27) At the college level I have taken Algebra, Calculus, and English Composition 1&2. In high school I took Advanced Placement US History and recieved a 3 on the AP Test, earning college credit. In high school, I took honors courses in English, Algebra 1&2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Geography, World History, Chemistry, and Biology. I want to be a tutor to help students do well in courses they currently struggle in. Because my major's curriculum does not directly relate to the majority of classes taken in high school, I understand being uninterested in the subjects you have to learn in 9th through 12th grade. I know that sometimes it is just hard to care about things that don't strike your fancy, which makes it so much harder to learning the material. I was lucky enough to be a "natural" at the school thing, but I know others are not. I would like to help others make it easier and more enjoyable to get through high school so that they have more opportunity to do what they want once they graduate.
