I have tutored and helped classmates, friends, and even random people around campus who have heard from others that I can help them. My ACT score was a 29. I want to be a tutor because of the satisfaction of knowing that I have helped someone do well and hopefully give someone else the chance to be successful in life. My mother is an elementary school teacher, and I have grown up seeing the satisfaction that helping kids has given her. I have taken all of the subjects that I listed in high school except for programming and calculus, and I was in engineering up until the summer of 2013. I have retaken many histories, and almost all of the math listed since I started college. I was also a member of the largest and second oldest fraternity here on campus but recently had to drop due to finances. I am very outgoing and creative.

Hobbies
I played football, basketball, baseball, golf, and tennis at my high school. I love to golf, hunt, fish, surf, play guitar, and sing. I believe that I could help anyone learn in a creative and fun way. I was diagnosed with ADD in my junior year of high school so I know the struggles of that, but with diligence and perseverance it can easily be overcome. I am a very logical thinker and do things step-by-step. I have also worked part-time since 7th grade so I have a ton of work, life, and social skills that are part of my personality. Role models are very important to kids, and I feel like I could be a role model as well as a teacher.
