Experience
Tutoring is not about making that particular assignment better; it's about better equipping the person to do that and future assignments. I focus on giving the person as much to take away from a session as humanly possible. Tools for now, and tools for later. I was a consultant of the Writing Center at Mississippi College for 5 consecutive semesters. I tutored students one-on-one, occasionally smaller groups, various ESL students, and led classroom exercises to Freshman classes. I've taken an extensive research composition class as well as assisted others who had taken the class. The class focused on finding and developing relevant data--in the form of classroom participation for my project. I've also had quite a bit of psychology and communication background. Both, when paired with writing (or any subject really), help make it more effective.

Hobbies
I enjoy almost every variation of art. I try to be actively involved in theatre (off-stage particularly) and film. I am an aspiring writer. I also enjoy video games and Japanese culture. Few things make me happier than puppies do.
